Carmen Ramirez-Kinsey
Founder & LMHC - IA, IL, CA, & WA
I provide counseling for adults navigating chronic pain, ADHD, trauma, and anxiety—challenges that can affect every part of life. These experiences are often misunderstood or minimized, which can leave people feeling frustrated, isolated, or overwhelmed while trying to manage responsibilities, healthcare needs, and relationships.
My approach is compassionate and evidence-informed, with sessions tailored to your unique experiences and goals. Together, we work to understand the roots of your struggles while developing practical strategies to manage symptoms and create meaningful change. In a confidential and supportive space, you’ll have the opportunity to explore patterns, process emotions, and build resilience. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, navigate challenges with greater confidence, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. If you’re ready to begin, I invite you to reach out.
Anastasia Pyz
LMHCA-Iowa & WAshington
With a background in exercise science, health, and yoga, I bring a holistic mind–body perspective to therapy. I work with athletes, adventurers, busy professionals, and individuals who may feel marginalized, offering a supportive space where all experiences are respected.
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, ADHD, identity exploration, relationship challenges, stress, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are high-achieving individuals who appear successful outwardly while managing significant internal pressure. Together, we develop practical tools and deeper self-understanding to build resilience and clarity. My work is grounded in Gestalt therapy, which focuses on awareness, presence, and authentic connection. We explore patterns, emotions, and the ways stress and relationships show up in the body. Through this process, clients often rediscover their values, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect with a sense of purpose and balance.
Sophie Wempen
Mental Health Counselor Intern
IA, IL, CA, & WA
Hi, I’m Sophie. I’m a Mental Health Counselor Intern at Clarity Through Therapy, and I provide client-centered telehealth therapy for teens (13+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic pain, and stress.
I strive to create a space that feels calm, supportive, and comfortable—where you can talk openly and feel understood. Our work together is guided by what you need, whether that’s learning practical coping tools, working through what’s been weighing on you, or having a place to slow down and process. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, or unsure how to move forward, you’re not alone. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, regulate your nervous system, and begin making changes that feel manageable. I take a whole-person approach, with an understanding of how emotional and physical health often overlap. This can be especially helpful if you’re navigating stress, chronic pain, or other health-related concerns alongside your mental health. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own—we can take it one step at a time, together.

Mental Health Counselor Intern
IA, IL, CA, & WA
Healing often begins when we have space to understand not only what happened to us, but how it has shaped our body, beliefs, and sense of meaning. As a Mental Health Counselor Intern at Clarity Through Therapy, I offer client-centered telehealth therapy for adults navigating trauma, grief and loss, chronic pain, life transitions, and religious or spiritual concerns. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in a whole-person perspective that honors the connection between emotional health, physical well-being, spirituality, and lived experience. In our work together, we can explore painful life changes, the loss of loved ones or companion animals, religious or spiritual wounding, shifts in belief systems, and the ways stress and trauma can live in the body. We’ll create a welcoming space to make sense of what you’ve been carrying, reconnect with your strengths, feel more at home in your body, and move toward a deeper sense of meaning and inner knowing. If you’re ready, you’re welcome to reach out and begin with a complimentary consultation.
